'Eileen Loves Books' began as 'The Girl Who Loves Books' in 2011.
How it All Began
Once upon a time, there was a Girl who Loved Books. Short books, long books, books with pictures, books without pictures, hardbacks, paperbacks, fiction and non-fiction... she just couldn't help enjoying all the wonderful books she read and being fascinated by what she learned from many brilliant writers.
When she grew up, guess what - she still loved books! By 2011, her TBR pile was getting a bit overwhelming, so she started a blog to talk about all the great books she read and encourage her to tackle the teetering tower of tomes.
Reviews and More
The Girl Who Loves Books has become Eileen Loves Books and evolved so that posts about reading, authors and visits to book / writer-related locations appear alongside reviews. Hopefully this means that there is always something interesting for you to read.
I'm still trying to tackle that ever-growing TBR pile, but with so many great new books published each year, it was always going to be a challenge. Won't stop me trying though!

I aim to be fair, honest and entertaining in my reviews and posts. I am not paid to review books, although I do receive free or proof copies from publishers and authors.
